I was sitting in a waiting room and they kept showing a clip on the news of people getting amped at a Trump rally. This was before he was president. I was flabbergasted that he would have all that support. I was a Democrat at the time and didn't think he'd win but didn't care one way or the other that he was running. It took a few more months, but that was the first seed.
