If she had an object imbedded, any old doctor or nurse practitioner at any old walk-in clinic could have tweezed it out immediately. The medical staff could have come to her place of dwelling (since it’s probably in DE not DC) and taken it out. The longer it sits in there, the higher chance of infection, they would have removed ASAP.

I don’t care about her old lady feet. shudder

This seems like cover for something else.
