Whoa! I wonder why? I’m not good with stocks. I’ve been wondering if I should pull my IRA’s out of the market and put them into ETH, BIT or NFT? My husband and son are into crypto . I’ve been worried about stocks crashing.
Crypto has absolutely zero value other than what people assign it. Stocks can also be volatile but usually the ones you want to invest in have good fundamentals. Talk to a financial advisor.
The dollar has absolutely zero value other than what people assign it - and is globally manipulated to become less and less valuable (99% decrease in value already in these 100 years). Cryptos typically feature limited supply, or even built-in deflation (diminishing supply) in order to maintain value long-term. And since stocks are priced to the dollar, they can skyrocket and still be worthless (this is the Biden economic plan). Whatever the fiat does, there will never be more than 20 million people on Earth who own a single, whole Bitcoin.
If stocks skyrocket proportionally to inflation then they are retaining their value. Crypto can also eventually be outlawed or even co opted into a national crypto, which is what they are trying to do
