Cytokine storm caused by ADE, which weakened PART of the person's immune system. The T-cells that kill infected cells are not suppressed, but the T-cells that regulate the killer response and help heal afterward are suppressed. This encourages the cytokine "storm" to occur and insures that it runs out of control... common end result is death...

Large doses of serum vitamin D plus IVM may work as treatments - unknown at this time.
