A huge amount of prepared foods........read the labels. Soy is nothing that people or animals need except in small amounts in the form of miso, tarmari sauce, tempeh.
Mayo, salad dressings, many canned foods, fried foods, breads, baked goods, protein powders......
Soy, unless fermented (tofu is not) is a goitrogen (a compound that interferes with the normal function of the thyroid gland). I am thinking that it's also a xenohormone (natural and artificial compounds showing hormone-like properties); definitely a phytoestrogen (imitate estrogen effects in the body).....one of the reasons that soy has been lowering testosterone for many years and wrongly increasing estrogen levels in women for years.
I totally agree, dead animals for the most part. I use whole organic grains with a legume to supplement my protein intake also; nothing like animal protein though.
I know this sounds stupid but what foods are soy included in that I can cut out?

...and tofu. I note that vegans love soy because they won't eat dead animals. Pros & cons. For now, I'll go with dead animals.
