Now I do believe that people can see the light and try to right their past wrongs, but why risk that with a politician? Vernon may have had a complete change of heart, but it is hard to believe any politician. He has had his chance and should spend the rest of his days trying to make it right, bit in think he can do that outside of public office. Pull up some grassroots conservatives and give them a shot. If he really is making amends, he will give full support to some new fresh candidates without past misdeeds that could be used to manipulate them.
