I'm also immunocompromised but in the same way as a cancer patient. I don't have B cells which are needed to store antibodies for long term memory. It also takes me longer to fight off infections & such. I haven't discussed whether I should get vaxxed with my doctor because I know I'm not going to get vaxxed.
I can't tell you how many texts and calls I've gotten like this. Finally, I just started telling people that because my immune system is compromised, I'm more likely to die from the vax than COVID.
Please look into the marvels of the keto diet for eliminating cancer. Cancer feeds on sugar, which is what carbs break down to, so eating the keto diet literally starves the cancer. Blessings.
I have a friend that has done the same. Stopped his chemo. Says he's tired of being tired and feeling like puking all the time.
I've seen a very noticeable difference in him since then. Says he's trying new, natural medicines and he's noticed a major difference after just a few weeks.
Keep plugging my friend, I wish you well and good health.
I am doing much better and out of the hospital after three days of antibiotic IV treatment.
One more thing. I canceled my next chemo. That is why I developed pneumonia in the first place.
I am glad that you are better.

I go to an MD clinic that supports cancer patients with IV vitamin C, glutathione, etc. -- hope you can access integrative care.
probably best at this point just to say "thank you" to your sister, and that you appreciate her care and concern. it'll throw her off. ;)
This is exactly what I did.
