I wanted to thank all of you who are praying for those of us under a mandate to get the jab to keep our jobs. I received notice yesterday that my exemption has been granted. There are many I work with that their exemption has been denied and they're going into the appeal phase. Please continue to pray for those seeking exemptions. I just want to say, what damn clown world do we live in(in America!!!) when we have to beg to be exempted from a poisonous jab that we know is killing people and is the intention of those mandating it?

Just for anyone else applying for one, it's "an exemption" but "a religious exemption". The reason is that "a" or "an" is determined by the following sound:
"Religious" begins with a definite consonant so it takes "a". Exemption begins with a vowel sound so it requires "an".
Similarly it's "an herb" (at least in America because the "h" is silent, unlike in the UK) and "a garden herb".
A example of one who clearly has an bit too much time on their hands.
Or someone who just learned this rule in school.
My goodness, do we need to start a Grammar.win site for this guy?
I am working so sorry I will make mistakes. I am trying to re-read everything I am typing while under productivity standards for work.
God Bless & Keep you u/AngelCole!
Praying for all who are fighting this evil battle! 🙏

So you are claiming "an garden elephant" would be correct or did you just forget your "following sound" rule? I saw the error OP made, but assumed he went back and added "religious" to modify the word "exemption" and forgot to update the indefinite article before it.
Yes, it was just an error, I know how to write.
