The "I was just following orders" defense did not work out for the Nazis in those Nuremberg trials. It should be the same in our current circumstances.
The worst penalties should be reserved for those that are deliberately suppressing effective treatments that would save so many lives... just so they can make a profit... those people need to be executed.
I suppose this argument didn't work for Derek Chauvin either. Even though it can be argued that he was following policy. He is obviously innocent but we have a court system that is plagued with issues and biases. How can you have an impartial jury when everybody has a personal data assistant with constantly updating information about the world around us? When the media is controlled and feeding people lies 24/7 on their pocket computers, what do you do to change or mitigate that?
The REAL Nazis are the ones controlling our information.
Sure worked for Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI agent who knowingly altering Carter Page's records, falsely portraying Page as a traitor.
"This manufactured scandal and associated lies caused me to adopt the lifestyle of an international fugitive for years," Page told the hearing. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/ex-fbi-lawyer-gets-probation-falsifying-carter-page-surveillance-application-n1256179
Clinesmith got probation.
Nuremberg trials were a farce. "Confessions" were tortured out of people. We need to do better.
edit: apparently the people here think that torturing the confession that you want to hear out of people is fair. Nice leftist thinking, brose.
You're right
