I don't know why everyone is acting like they can actually force another lockdown. 2/3s of the country are basically giving the federal government the middle finger on literally everything they do/want to do. I mean, aren't Texas and Florida (The second and third largest states respectively) outright defying the feds to the point that they're trying to sue them to force them to comply? Which the states are still refusing to acknowledge anyway.
I would say if you live in a "blue" state they might lock back down, but I don't even know if that true since California and New York are basically in a state of social civil war with the people living there refusing to comply with the state government mandates on the jab, masks, etc.

And really even barely any of LA. The bay area is definitely blue, and so is most of the northern california coastal towns.
But LA, OC, and San Diego counties are not entirely blue by any means.
