And that they have been confiscated by White Hats during the recent "purge" and access to the tunnels underneath. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Hoping it will be part of disclosure. If true, it will obviously be earth-shaking.

All the real good stuff went up in flames when the library of Alexandria burnt down.
Are you referring to caliph Omar? I have heard many different stories and reasons but the moslims looting and burying what they took, I have not heard. The version I heard was of him saying it’s inconsequential what’s in there so therefore destroy it. The story of the moslims being the reason always seemed implausible to me because of the timeframe that story was created, that always seemed suspect to me and the guy who started that story was biased to moslims, as well.
I will look into that. I appreciate it. That would be quite fascinating if true. I always thought that the knowledge contained there would fill in a lot of missing pieces about human history.
At this point, all it takes for me is to notice that it was in my formal education that I learned that the library of Alexander was burned and all that knowledge lost, to conclude that it probably didn't, and it probably wasn't.
