I had not seen that before.

So how is populating news articles with arbitrary number of “COVID cases”, which have been used to shut down our country, rig our elections, and shred our Constitution, anything but utterly conclusive proud that news and science have been completely hijacked?

“Oh, I t’s been like this for a long time” makes this even more stunning.
