I read Jack Posobic state that his sources from inside the White House confirmed severe restrictions and lock downs in US scheduled for mid august. I need other sources confirming this because we (whole family) need to know if we need to do the “panic buying” before others do the panic buying. And if we need to invest in a large freezer

Anyone not stocking up to avoid shortages, hasn’t been paying attention.
There is zero downside to having a few months of things you need on hand. Just pay attention to expiration dates and rotate through things.
If you’re going to invest in a freezer, invest in a generator.
Yeah dry and canned is probably best.
A tip for freezing: clean and fill 2 plastic liter bottles with water and freeze them in every available space in your freezer. Gives you water and will maintain food longer in case of power outage. Generators are great but they do take fuel to stay running. Collect jars and lids and prepare to can everything in your freezer if you have to. Have a couple of canning books on hand or download and print from internet.
