I tried all that 'detoxing' via Veganism,just juice, wheatgrass supplements etc. Later I added eggs and yoghurt, because I was literally starving. So I became vegetarian. The diet got me sicker and sicker. This was not some simple detox reaction, it happened over twenty years, with degenerative disease.
My body responded to all that frantic search for finding the source of my problems, by becoming allergic to grains, fruits and then legumes and root veg.
In the end I was only able to eat white rice, cabbage and chard.
Then chard started reacting with me. I was covered in hand-sized hives.
You try eating nothing but cabbage with a spoon full of rice for every meal, and see how you feel.
And in case you thought it was sprays or chemicals. I sourced organic foods.
So, I turned to the eating of just meat.
Suddenly, I was able to eat all sorts of foods, and my symptoms went away in a mere two weeks. Literally. It was like a miracle.
The Acid/Alkalli argument is bunkum, BTW. Trust me, I know from personal experience.
