Not entirely true. The blue and often purple states follow Cuomo and Newsome lock step. Big city mayors, in red states follow them as well.
Also, I'm not sure there is anything that we can "show" the blue state NCP's that will cause them to suddenly realize that communism is bad.
I would love it if we could divorce ourselves from the coasts, but unfortunately these maniacs will never stop pursuing us in the red parts of the country.
