VPNs are mostly a way to spoof your location. They don't necessarily provide anonymity.
Also, a lot of VPNs will bend over for the government in one way or another; either your government will ask their government to ask them, or your government will mandate the information themselves if they want to continue doing business with users under their thumb.
That means your initial location can easily be obtained by any government in a pretty short time. VPNs will comply.
yeah, my first VPN only worked until the other companies blocked the vpns IP's.
