So how did the Enterprise-D become Voyager by August?
"Intrepid-class too OP, pls nerf."
I'd have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you damned TREKKIES!
dammit you beat me to it lol
I like the cut of your gib.
This meme has the right idea but the wrong spacecraft.
First, Voyager, with the exception of Seven of Nine's chest, is worthless. Any normal captain would have killed those infidels they were pursuing as soon as they were captured, would have blown Neelix and Kes out of a fucking airlock after realizing how worthless they are, and would have had that fucking doctor re-programmed about three seconds after turning it on. That show was trash.
Next, Jean Luc Picard as well as anything involving STTNG is a liberal wet dream and is utter nonsense (except for most of season 3, all of season 4, and about 1/2 of season 5). Picard would have never, ever become anything legendary. Why? He fucking paled around with an android and thought about things wayyyyyy too long instead of actually doing something ... any enemy worth a damn would have blown a Picard captained galaxy class starship out of space in no time.
What this meme should have is the end of Star Trek VI. Show Kirk (a real captain) saying "fire" and one torpedo hitting that cloaked Bird of Prey captained by General Chang. This is a metaphor for exposing the deep state. Then show Sulu saying "Target that explosion and fire!" ... this represents people waking up. Then show Kirk saying "fire" again with the Bird of Prey exploding :-) . Maybe for extra credit, you can show the arrests of the Romulan, Humans, and Klingon conspirators that were working to keep the future Deep State intact.
This is a top notch comment, replete with wisdom and fuckoffery. The only hint of irony. Sulu saying fire! Is that mincy, sweaty, naked, looking more camp than a row of tents Sulu? We need the Chad Dog version of Sulu for this. This was the only chink in your armor. I otherwise concurr.
Picard LOL.
Sulu as captain of the Excelsior seemed pretty tough. Let's not confuse the character with the actor :-).
Star Trek VI is a criminally underrated movie. For any other pedes reading this, even if you hate Star Trek, it is a decent flick to check out in the event you're bored and need something to watch ... you don't need to know all of the canon to enjoy it.
I was just watching Voyager today. Janeway is my captain!
Why did they have her sucking on helium before she talked :-)!
I couldn't get into that show ... at all. The only character (outside of Seven of Nine) I found interesting was Tuvok ... and they all but wasted that character. The writers were awful and seemed to be obsessed with injecting proto-woke shit into most of the later episodes.
It's a damn shame the writers brought all of that bland scribble into that Enterprise series ... I had such high hopes for it ... they really fucked that show up in its earlier days (some episodes were great, others were horrible). By the time they got their act together in season 4 (some excellent shows in that season), it was too late ... they were down to 16 or 17 viewers. Yeah, 17 viewers :-) ).
Will August be the month the world changes? I'm hoping...but I had that hope each month before... But one thing I have noticed is that there aren't many dates past August people are talking about....
J J Abrams, LOL !
Edit:- I just checked JJ's filmography on IMDB and it's a shit show of epic proportions and even worse than I though.
This guy drives me crazy. His movies have some cool, based messages in them, but he's a flaming liberal douchebag and is certainly a yes man to his DS backed overlords. I have to admit that I loved his Star Trek movie (the first one he did ... the second fell flat) and didn't think he was the problem with his two Star Wars flicks, but the guy seems to be afraid to craft his own stories for the big screen.
I certainly won't pay to see his stuff of course ... Hollywood is dead to me ... I just give him credit where credit is due. That being said, JJ is ridiculously overrated and completely ripped off Steven Spielberg's 70s and early 80s style ... you know, that guy that played a role in the murder of Heather O'Rourke of Poltergeist fame.
