When we entered the emergency room Last night When I got to the door they told me I had to put on a mask. I told them I had all 16 of my vaccinations, (of course i have not) The lady at the counter made that clear that everybody at the hospital had their vaccinations. I proceeded to ask her if everybody had their vaccinations and I had my vaccination why do I need to wear a mask. To my surprise she said because the fake news is trying to scare everybody into thinking we're all going to die. I decided to ask her one more question what percentage of people coming in with covid 19 have been vaccinated. Again her answer was staggering she told me over 70% Of the new cases. She winked at me again and said It's flu season Trump won. Even the people in California are starting to wake up.

Correct. Med schools are supported by big pharma. Students have a lot of money invested and what do they learn? Big pharma is your friend, they send you on junkets, give you special perks, supply your office with all kinds of supplies with their name on them. They give you free samples to make you look generous to your patients. Do not cross big pharma. The message comes across loud and clear. So, they learn early not to cross them. They go along to get along. They don't want to sabotage their careers.
In the 90's, our son dated a doctor's daughter. She told me that her dad made $5600/month cash just for going to nice restaurants and listening to big pharma spiels.
We went to Mr. and Mrs. Doc's house for dinner. Their patio was decked out with the nicest furniture and BBQ pit - all paid for by the pharma companies. Mrs. Doc told me this. They had a big ass tv in the family room - don't have to tell who paid for that. Oh, and they were going to Hawaii all expenses paid.
They were a very nice family but this pharma largesse left a bad taste.
I suspect there's an element of chicken/egg to it.
As an example, doctors as I understand it can never really stop studying. They have to keep up with techniques, keep abreast of new ailments, etc.
And in a lot of cases, that means trips to seminars on this new information at some airport in whatever city the hosts of the seminar decide to set things up at, which costs money, which is where big pharma can come in.
Of course some of it is just knowing how to schmooze people, which if you wanna see what that looks like, track down a book called "confessions of a viagra salesman" from the early 2000s.
