Came here to say this.

I have a friend whose ex-boyfriend is a constable. He's a good one. Yet he was told by his training officer to be sure to tell any future partner he's a "straight arrow" so he would never be exposed to any shady shit. This is now the world we live in, where it's assumed by others on the force you're dirty by default.
