Can powdered whey protein be stocked long term as an emergency food supply and substitute animal protein if there's none avaliable ?
EDIT: Asking on behalf of a couple friends who drink it every day in the gym and said they could fetch a good supply on short notice if it's useful.
Rotfl. He's the one using it every day!! Haha. So funny. Men, eh. So I have a question about the chicken. Someone one line was raving about how the chicken breasts turn out in an air fryer. My question is, can you just put a plain, skinless chicken breast in them or does it have to be breaded. Trying to figure out the 'crisp' aspect. I can see how something breaded might get crispy but what happens to a plain breast - do you know?
I didn't get to eat any. He said it was browned on the outside, not exactly crispy, and different from grilled chicken on the Traeger. It was skinless. He said he would make it again.
I tried shredded hashbrowns (not in a shape like McDonald's, but loose) today, and they were very crispy, but a little dry. I guess I didn't get enough spray oil on them. I thought they were ok with ketchup, but would add a little more oil next time.
Alright. Thanks!
