Fun times. I used to catch them when I was a kid. But I never ate them since the place was just downstream from a sewage facility that we were sure used to release their overflow into the creek across the street from where I used to live.
Oh I won't eat catfish but I do love salmon, cod, halibut and flounder. No sushi for me. I will also eat a lot of shell fish.
I live not far from the NC coast. It is definitely one of our most prolific fish here.
