Remember the Witch trials where women were accused of talking to their cats by a neighbour and then they were tried as a witch, by throwing them into a river being tied up? If they sunk to the bottom they were definitely a witch, but if they floated to the top they weren't a witch but were still dead! Or the 1930's in Germany where the whole nation got brainwashed?
