I also recommend Eden of The East and Speedgrapher.

Speedgrapher is about a photographer who accidentally develops a super human ability to kill with a camera while investigating an underground cult of sadistic elites who worship a giant moth and use a chemical found in a prepubescent girl. He's rescues her and they are on the run from super powered sickos that became the super rich after the economy reset from a worldwide collapse. The Club the elites are a part of also keeps track of debauchery. Don't pay your dues and the worst things get leaked about you to ruin you socially and then you commit suicide.

I swear. Where do these crazy ideas in old anime come from?
