Otherwise consuming seaweed up to a couple of times a week should suffice, you can find various kinds of dried seaweed at any Asian market or the fancier stuff at health food markets, that will make up for an iodine deficient diet (usually this is vegans). If you don't eat seafood add that in to, since there's so much other good stuff in one package (the big one is DHA).
