We bought a nice big flat smart TV with all the bells and whistles when we moved into our place two years ago. Mostly because we were planning on watching football. The TV hasn't been even turned on in nearly two years now, I have no clue where the remote is, we don't pay for comcast anymore, so I use the money for the good steaks at Publix, although now we can't afford them again. We actually discussed selling that super nice TV, but we thought a blank wall would look kind of odd.

FYI the smart tv software on Samsung TV’s spy on what you watch and reports to their centralized adSmart server that they then use to target market you in many areas.
