Unfortunately killing babies is a thing. One of the things they do is get a young woman pregnant but no doctors no paper trail. They keep her hidden during her pregnancy.

Of course in NY State all you have to do is pretend to attempt an abortion. If the baby is born alive anyway, it has no legal protection as a human if the mother says she doesn't want it.

That is why they lit up the buildings in NYC in pink when all the protections were removed from NYS law.
