I had a friend who was shot to death inside a Federal Courthouse in Littleton, Colorado in the 1980's. From that time forward everyone had to sign in and pass the metal detector. I wish they had had better protection then for Rosie, but she died and her advocate was also shot...then they passed more rigorous requirements.
