Today, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee mandated the Covid vaccine for all state and private healthcare employees. These people must all be vaccinated by October 18th or lose their jobs. There is no provision for regular testing for unvaccinated people. Religious exemptions will likely be allowed, though there are scant details on who accepts exemptions and on what grounds. Likewise, there are no details on how compliance will be enforced, though I have heard that the state Dept. of Health has records for all of those who have been vaccinated. It would be easy for them to compare databases and know who has not complied.
This topic is very close to home to me. It is simply incredible that any governor can be allowed to get away with such a wide mandate. What will the next mandate be? Is there no rule of law in our country anymore?

Washington state has become so corrupt and is being destroyed right in front of our eyes. I was born in Seattle and up until 6 years ago called it home. I have moved to Texas with my husband and now have family here who have also moved. We are all so sick about what has been done to the state. It is a disgrace to see what Democrat control can do. Inslee and company are running the state to the ground.
By governors we almost certainly didn't elect.
I hate this godforsaken state with a bitter passion that consumes my soul... not the chunk of land itself, it’s gorgeous, but our politicians and all of the brain dead zombies that keep voting them into office.
Same here, hope their corruption brings them all down, along with our housing prices
I’ve given up on that dream... I’ve got a new dream now: that the housing prices continue rising like this for another couple years so we can sell our house and use the profits to buy a farm in a red state. I want to get my boys out of here.
" not the chunk of land itself, it’s gorgeous" Probably why they are doing what they are doing. Getting people to sell cheap.
Or they cheated the vote? 🧐
I pray every day that Inslee goes down with all the other governors who are taking money and direction from the CCP. They want us out of here so they can hand it over to China - I am sure they sold it all long ago. Would also like to see medical proof that he and Kate Brown have taken the "real" jabs not the placebo.
Is Washington State under a medical emergency? I don't believe so. Even with this, an executive order does not have authority over legislated law and State and federal Constitution. This should be challenged. It is an abuse of power. The Chief executive officer (I.e governor) does not make or create law.
This is wrong. Lawyers need to challenge this immediately. In the mean time an emergency injunction should be brought for a stay of order.
Inslee is doing it under his expanded "Covid emergency" laws. They cite an increase in case numbers. Not deaths of course, case numbers. And I can speak from first hand experience that all of the PCR tests here are run between 38 and 40 cycles, which clearly leads to a huge number of false positives.
You are correct that there is no way that this could withstand a good lawsuit in a sane world. Unfortunately, our legal system here is just as corrupt as our legislative branch, so I would be shocked if there's going to be any quick recourse.
So, there is legislated law passed for this? The governor does not make laws? If it is an Emergency Order, it is subservient to legislated law. Again, the governor cannot and had no authority to make law. An executive order is not law.
Where are the lawsuits? Even the WHO and CDC now state the PCR Test is useless because it cannot determine infection. Cycles over 35 give 97% false-positives.
If you don't stand up, you will be run over by tyranny. Noncompliance.
Noncompliance is definitely the right route. And you’re correct about it not being “law.” I typed too fast there. But it’s part of his executive emergency powers, which have been legislated, so in theory he has a lot of legal power to act. I definitely think it’s unconstitutional, but that’s an uphill battle with this state Supreme Court.
All States have legislated the provision for emergency powers. The governor's orders still CANNOT violate existing laws. If any provisions in the EO are in conflict with any such laws, it is the statutory law that has authority. The provision of the EO in conflict is therefore null and void. Remember, the governor is chief executive and enforces existing State laws. He does not get to EVER make law.
The provision the legislature made for emergency powers is typically no longer than 30 days. Thenceforth, the governor is suppose to go through the legislature to extend it. In Michigan and other Pathocrat States, they were abusing the power by reissuing new EOs every month. See how that works? By doing this, they essentially usurped the power and voice from the people. In MI it got so bad, the MI supreme court ruled against Whitmer's shenanigans and called it an 'abuse of power'. If one looks this up, they will find this being the definition of 'Tyranny'. So instead of the MI governor obeying and backing down, she thumbed her nose at the Supreme Court and went through the State's department of Health issuing these orders. Finally, the Republican held legislature ended it by voting to removing the Governor's powers permanently.
I don't know about your State, but non-compliance is where it need to start. If nothing is done, and people sit on the asses, this will only get worse.
This is by definition -- tyranny. A tyrannical government always starts inch-by-inch, then it starts accelerating until its unstoppable.
I couldn't agree more. I've studied tyranny since the ancient Greeks through the communists, and know how things work once authoritarians are given an inch. Non-compliance is the key, at multiple levels.
The problem we have in Washington is this: We were the first state to implement mass mail-in ballots. We were the testing grounds. That means that over the past few decades, the deep state has captured every single institution here. It leaves little recourse for action beyond non-compliance, but there will be no support from those in power beyond a few local sheriffs.
Does Washington have a state Constitution? Maybe someone needs to read it. Maybe in the correct jurisdiction some thing can be done if he isn't following Washington States Constitution.
I'm pretty sure Inslee used it up during the toilet paper shortage of '20
Rumor - I hear City Of Bothell is already going along with Insleeze's vax plan.

Nice link! And way to bring this post out of archive death. Very interesting results there. I'll be curious to see how it looks in a month. And I'm very concerned about the number of people in the WSP who may be walking... I like driving on safe highways.
