My wife and I have taken to just driving for vacations since corona virus insanity hit early last year. No more flights, no more prostrating for DHS imbeciles on a power trip as we go through security.

We bought a large SUV that has room for us, our son and our two ginormous dogs (Newfoundlands). We drive, we have long conversations and actually see this great country. We drove 1500 miles each way on our last two vacations and the time spent driving was more than worth not getting near an airport. And bonus, the dogs get to have fun on the beach instead of being boarded for two weeks.

Next vacation, hop in your car. Talk to your spouse and kids, spoil your pets and fuck the airlines.
