Cuomo's replacement is a woman who is just as liberal as Cuomo (if not more so) and Democrats are banking on her being Governor and having name recognition and the power of the office to help her in the next election.

yep. This is exactly what happened with Oregon and how Oregon got Kate Brown as a gov. I believe the same thing happened with PA's AG race as well.
