I was telling some people the day that happened where he was "charged" and subsequently asked to resign, that this was a "get out of jail free card". An attempt to save face and slide out from a bigger scandal. Only saving face in this case is either admitting to or pleading no contest to sexual harassment. It just so happens that a lot of liberal men who are in positions of power have such skeletons to be revealed so the strategy for coverup is a fairly used one. Hell I even remember Rush talking about this very strategy years ago....and it's true even to this day. Only Cuomo initially let his ego get the best of him and fought back. Then either his handlers told him to back down and accept his fate, or he knew the evidence was going to be overwhelming and his best bet is to get the fuck out of town. Mark my words he won't face a day in jail, and we won't hear from him again. Has anyone heard from Anthony Weiner in a while?? Me either.
