Seeing the post on IL and voting at symposium has me wondering if the states that started the process of creating “new” state borders (CA and IL I know) is still ongoing and if y’all think if things go as we hope it will continue?

as a former Illinois resident this is truly common desire in areas below I80 if not more, especially the further south you get.
