Fellow Michigander here. We had some storms rolling through yesterday and today. Power went out at my work yesterday and it flickered enough to turn my alarm clock off this morning. I'm a few hours south of your brother.

You might want to edit that photo and remove his name and the people who reacted to his post. maybe just crop that stuff out.
