Ask him what his name means. Schwarz is the "field supervisor" or "foreman" of the "neggers". He's the big dude in the fields with the whip -- motivating the "neggers."

No. He explained it once on TV. Schwarz is German for "black" (and it is; I've had 3 years of high school German). Negger (pronounced nekker) is German for "plowman." No big deal at all.
