My own perspective is that you guys grossly overestimate how much of a hive-mind liberals actually are.
I am perfectly comfortable disagreeing with and criticizing the guy I voted for. I would bet money that I have probably spent more words publicly criticizing Clinton than any single person on this board. I know that Democrats and government itself has its problems.
I just do not see Trump as the solution to those problems. In fact, I saw Trump as a special kind of threat to our democracy that went beyond anything Clinton or Biden was capable of.
Which is why I was convinced to vote for both Clinton and Biden over him, despite really despising the former and seeing the latter as only a hair away from a conservative.
Part of believing that the government can solve problems (like healthcare) means that you tend to keep a VERY close eye on who is running that government. It's not blind trust. If anything, the problem becomes that we want to micromanage, because we don't trust them to do this properly.
I would have rather seen Clinton as POTUS than Trump for one reason only: I believe that Trump does in public and confidently what Clinton does in private.
And if I have to accept shenanigans in politics for now, I'd rather POTUS at least pretend to care about hiding misdeeds and corruption, because that gives the people a measure of control that we could never have over someone like Trump.
The Biden administration, with his behind-the-scenes controllers, is showing itself to not only be the most corrupt possibly in history, but also treasonous through the blatant capitulation to China. I urge you to learn U.S. History, consider human nature, and you may be able to see how despicable the Democrat party has become. A recent poll shows that more than half of Democrats view socialism favorably! I suspect you are under 30 and HIGHLY influenced by leftist education, and of course, MSM. Most of the conservatives here don't watch Fox, and I actually watch CBS news, at least with their little morning "news" summary, to see what the latest propaganda is. Can you not see how corrupt the "news" is? And the "news", as far as MSM goes, is essentially a branch of the vile Democrat party. I think there is hope for you though (but the fact you voted for both Hildabeast and Biden makes me have big doubts) The good thing is, you didn't name call and run like most Democrats I have dealt with :)
