heh, I know op meme to make a point but, yeah.. They are still conflicted on when exactly many of them were built and if it was slave labor OR life long employment for people to make lively hoods off of, themselves.
By the by, check out Ben aka "UnchartedX" if you haven't. Excellent content on these matters, helps paint an even larger picture especially if you haven't read Graham's books (which you should).
I have always had an interest in all that ancient stuff since I was young so, I have kept an ear out on the subject and how the info has changed and new insights have been put forth, over many years, same with other related discoveries. No specific person or point of view comes to mind on it though. lol. I have a real old set of "mystery and science" books that my mom gave me when I was a kid (that she had gotten sometime in her life) and oh boy, have many views changed since the 60/70's of the world's timeline and past. lol

I read that it was a way for people to stay employed during the months when they couldn't farm.
Probably wasn't built by slaves or Egyptians, but I get your point.
Some people devoted their life to build them as well..
