Having people like you in Canada gives me hope.

Growing up in Canada has meant that I have not had first-hand experience with true horror. I've read a lot about it and seeing photos/video from before hell was unleashed as compared to now is sobering and can bring tears to my eyes for the meaningless destruction.

I fear that happening here. Most Canadians seem to think that they are standing on solid ground when they are actually on little more than mist.
