The bible proves since, science proves the bible. God gave us the ability to understand these things and use them. Faith without works is dead. The same idea can be held with healers and the town witch doctor from way back when..there was a spiritual mystical realm attached to healing. It just seems like that mystery is gone because now everything is visible under a microscope, the truth is God has given us ways to heal.and deal for a long time.....yes God is sufficient in everything. We should not deny the things given to us by His hand, only deny what man turns that into
