Would be shocked to hear an actual Haitian say that their family practices voodoo. Literally everyone is Roman Catholic (with a few Protestants here and there in my experience). Say what you will about the Catholic Church, I could care less about it personally. But I do know the voodoo bullshit is just that - bullshit. It represents such a small percentage of the population, but white Westerners are fucking obsessed with it. It’s akin to suggesting that all Americans are Amish.
