“Sen. Rand Paul’s wife: Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul waited more than a year to disclose that his wife purchased stock in a company that makes a COVID-19 treatment, an investment made after Congress was briefed on the threat of the virus but before the public was largely aware of its danger.
The Republican filed a mandatory disclosure Wednesday revealing on Feb. 26, 2020, that Kelley Paul purchased $1,001 to $15,000 worth of stock in Gilead, which makes the antiviral drug remdesivir. Under a 2012 law called the Stock Act, any such sale should have been reported within 45 days.”
I am talking about Ron, not Rand.
As many have observed, he is not his father. A truesism as self evident like: all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienble rights, among which are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and that government's are instituted among men to secure these rights, and that whenever such government becomes detrimental to that cause, it is the right of the people, it is their duty, to abolish such government, and lay it's foundation on such principles as to them seem most effecting their future security and happiness.
Rand, well, he is a peculiar fellow, and clearly has a different agenda and probably compromised on certain topics, depending on his perceived vulnerabilities. Meaning, you can't totally trust him, despite him standing up for certain matters relating to the protection of rights. Think filibuster regarding issues pertaining to the 4th and 5th amendment. Or now his call to resist these mandates.
And he ain't Dr.No.
