Unfortunately, this may be "the more you don't know---but accept anyway."
Incredible to think Arnold's father was a "brownshirt." This was the nickname for the Sturmabteilung (SA, "storm troopers"), which was a paramilitary organization to exert public coercion for the Nazi party (mainly streetfighting with Communists). It lasted from about 1922 to when Hitler came to power in 1933, and was disbanded. Since it was a domestic political arm of the Nazi party, it was not active in Austria.
[My apologies for a typographical error in my previous comments elsewhere. I had confused the SA with the SD. Aside from labels, what I am saying remains true.]
Austria was absorbed into the Third Reich in 1938, whereupon any of its citizens became subject to being drafted into the Wehrmacht, the Reich's Army. Arnold's father is shown in an Army uniform. The Army was not a "Nazi" fighting force (that would have been the SS, much different uniform). It is absolutely unremarkable that an Austrian might have been in the Army of the Third Reich, without any connection to the Nazi party.
I have seen this bullshit posting a handful of times. Keep it up and you will discredit this movement in a sad way, by elevating prejudice and bigotry above facts. You don't have to like Arnold Schwarzenegger in order to respect the truth.
If you look closely, the stripe along the edge of the lapels suggests that he was probably an NCO, but I'm personally unsure what grade. 1st Sergeant does seem within the realm of possibility though, at least.
Additionally, he also seems to be wearing the Waffenfarbe (branch-of-service colors) of the Pioniere, who were the engineering corps of both the Reichsheer and the Wehrmacht
