Actually, to be more precise, it was cure for cancer, utilizing altered viruses, that in turn caused a disease

And Ironically, the mRNA "vaccines" and even the Adenovirus DNA vaccine were originally intended as gene therapies developed to of all things, treat diseases such as cancer. They weren't working out and were repurposed.
