Brendon O'Connell has said for years (I am a newish listener) that we need to quit wasting time online and trying to convince our family and friends and strangers on the internet of anything. He says we need to lobby power. Military bases, govt offices, we need to become powerful influencers of people in power. For the people who are in a position to more actively publicly serve, we need to run for office and become the power.

I am not happy with the speed of all this either. I do see some small progresses and some small victories being made with legal wins and with audits taking place. If more of us become active in making those calls, sending those emails, showing up at the meetings and speaking and running for office maybe we can still turn things around.
