What caused your cell to go to disfunction? At some point either by parasitic invasion (highly acidic environment) or some form of destabilization of the mitochondria (poor electron transport, poor oxygenation, etc) … apoptosis is ‘turned off’ and the cell then mutates into an anaerobic cell — using sugar as energy instead of oxygen. The waste product is lactate .. which increases the acidic environment even more. The cell is now immortal.
The body will ‘wall off’ abnormal cells (cysts) to protect itself… or because it does not have the energy to fight it.
