So now they have risked everything by too quickly trying to regain their advances in objectives and time in such a way as to allow it to be understood by the people. They must have an end date. Why? What is it? What is its significance? I keep coming back to these questions. Why would they risk it all instead of just slowly regaining their advances and continuing as normal?

Your pre-trib view is just one view of the end times. Many of us stand on sound Biblical teaching that supports a post-trib view. We know Christ will one day return to claim His own, but this stuff with dates is totally non-Bibical. People need to focus on their salvation by Christ and let God decide on the timeline.
That’s not what the Bible teaches, man doesn’t know the day or the hour. We can know the season. Jesus in his own words told us the season. “When the fig tree puts forth new branches—This generation will not pass until they see the Son of Man come with his angels.” 1948. The fig tree (Israel) was established and expanded (put forth new branches). Well, those folk born in 1948 are now 73 years old. Approaching the 2 day delta of Christ’s ascension. (For a day is like a thousand years to the Lord). The post trib crowd are confused as they gave up looking for Christ after Y2K. But it wasn’t 2000 years from His Birth, it was 2,000 years from his resurrection.
“They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.” 2 Peter 3:4-10 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/2pe.3.4-10.ESV
