"They're comfortably asleep. They're where they want to be." My wife doesn't want to look at anything I can show her and gets irritated if I disturb her calm. She's had two Pfizer shots.
I've backed away. The struggle is real. I thought she'd wake up when the Chrissy Teigen stuff went down, but no.
I'm actually very curious about people, like you, who are married to someone asleep or in stubborn denial.
I imagine that has to put a strain on relationships. And I worry even more about the state of those relationships when the truth is revealed and everyone has to face the uncomfortable realities.
The strain is that we can't share in what is going on. For the most part, we just leave the TV news turned off; otherwise I yell at the TV.
We're sleeping in separate beds, but really only because I snore like crazy and like to stay up late. I also have sleep apnea. Sleeping alone I don't have to worry about waking her. Freaking cats are around too and they love to sleep with her.
We do have a good relationship all and all and should get through this, but it's just hard. And when the shit finally hits home I'm going to have to spend months explaining. Just like movies today I constantly have to stop and explain to her what is going on in the movie.
Described my wife to an absolute "T".

I wish you luck!
