Consider:

  • Afghanistan was the hot spot for pedophilia (see bacha bazi). In no other country pedophilia was as openly practiced as in Afghanistan.
  • Talibans are highly respected by the Afghan population because of their no-nonsense stance against sexual deviancy.
  • Instead of stomping out the pedophilia in Afghanistan the army was commanded to protect the Afghan elite/child diddlers. Soldiers were explicitly told to ignore the pedophilia of the Afghan commanders they were working with.
  • The media constantly pushed the "but think about muh women" narrative, that women in Afghanistan should have the right to prostitute themselves.
  • Meanwhile in the US, that same sexual deviancy was normalized, opponents to this were branded to be religious fanatics and the Taliban were used as example for how bad religious people are.
