I wouldn't say Soros hates XI particularly based on this:

Although in the Symposium video, the clip on Soros seems he likes to impact societies consequences be damned.

Further although, his concentration seems to be on US at the moment. But if he is, it's an elitist plan which probably doesn't fair any better for average Joe citizens than China taking over.
