While I'm no fan of Bill Gates I think the comment was misunderstood. It appears he'd like to slow the population growth, but I wouldn't say he's thinking of killing people via vaccines. If he was looking to reduce the population why would he be spending time and money on saving many children who die of diarrheal diseases every year?
Did Bill Gates personally tell you that his efforts to save these children was just to gain trust? I'm guessing he didn't. And while I haven't talked to him directly either, I just find it hard to believe his plan is to kill off people via vaccinations.
