There were probably 5 (maybe more) posts today and yesterday about āfake balloon planesā, inflatable C-17s.
It just had to be laughed at.
I only wish my artwork was better.
So that's a normal photo with a wave distortion photoshopped into it? I'm retarded and really not getting the joke.
No I used the Bump tool to swell the planes to make them fat and balloony.
But I didnāt extract the planes out into layers, so it just resulted in waves in the tarmac/background.
Super shtty, to be sure, but somehow the sheer jankiness of it all added to the humorā¦ for me.
The planes look nice and inflated, but then I look at the ground and i can't tell what's going on. I understand that it's a meme that was put together quickly, but a few minutes to separate the layers would have cleared up a lot of the confusion for the joke.

Iām tempted to re-do it tonight; despite churning out such a undeniably crappy effort, I do have a perfectionist streak.
Or at least a desire to do right by the joke.
